The Attack of Fanzilla
My cousin Fanny is from New York, and she is cute, and she sorta flew over here with her mom to visit us rather spur of the moment. Amazing! She has totally grown into the nick name I gave her: “Fanzilla”. Quite simply, she terrorizes New York yet still manages to occupy a special place in my heart, aww.
She leaves tomorrow. Bummed! Still a great visit.

Congratulations, Andrew
Last night was pretty great, I went to my oldest friend Andrew’s graduation party. We’ve been buddies since we’ve been 4 years old, so it was a really cool thing to be a part of.
In addition to the revelry, (the theme was “tequila”), I reconnected with a few friends that I hadn’t seen in like, 6-7 years, which probably wasn’t surprising given the fact that it had been about 4-5 since I’d seen Andrew.
All in all, the party was a fitting celebration of a guy who enjoys the heck out of life, and who throughout the years remains a true friend.
To you, Andrew, I say thanks for the memories, and “Hala Madrid!”. Best of luck for the future, and thanks for keeping me involved in it!
Salud!

COME ON YOU BLUES!!
I was on hand the other night when the mighty Chelsea F.C. took on the historically mighty FC Inter Milan, coached by former Chelsea legend, José Mourinho. The next dimension was added by the fact that at the helm of Chelsea for only the 2nd time for a match was Carlo Ancelotti, former manager of AC Milan, the arch rivals of Inter! The heat was on with these added dimensions, and what a spicy affair it turned out to be! The Rose Bowl was packed, and the atmosphere electric! 81,000 people packed in to see the game, and it was a riotous affair…
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti picked a strong squad to start… Cech, Ivanovich, Ricky C, JT26, Ashley Cole, Obi Wan Mikel, Malouda, Essien, Lampard, Drogba, and Kalou… EPIC.
After some early attacking impetus shown by the Blues the deadlock was brooken as Drogba turned and fired a sweet shot into the net I was behind! Cue ecstatic celebrations by me, one of the only Chelsea supporters in the Inter-Section. Love it.
After the opener the teams seemed content to slow it down, but despite the lull, the crowd was into it. A huge wave, and constant droning of noisemakers kept the players up.
After half time, goal-scorer Drogba and compatriot Kalou made way for Daniel Sturridge and Nico Anelka, and a trio of changes at the back saw Carvalho replaced by Alex, Ivanovic replaced by Sam Hutchinson, and Michael Mancienne replaced the adventurous Ashley Cole.
A clear handball after an enterprising Sturridge move gifted Chelsea a deserved penalty, which Super Frankie Lampard put away cooly.
In a last ditch attempt to bring a spark to his offensively lackluster side, José made a late mix up to bring in fan favorite, and FC Barcelona target Zatlan Ibrahimovic on, while simultaneously, Chelsea gave a debut to new-boy Ross Turnbull, much to my infinite glee! Super ross was tested early from a gilt-edged Ibra-chance, a Quaresma free kick, and an even more dangerous Ibrahimovic free kick which he smothered safely. 2-0 late into the proceedings, Franco Di Santo replaced Super Frank, and Art Deco came on for Essien. This pair almost created a goal when Deco sent a brilliant chip over Inter’s back line only for DiSanto to volley just over from a menacing position.
As the final whistle blew, ecstatic cheers erupted amongst the Chelsea contingent amidst the exodus of Inter fans who were rather displeased by the lack of end product in their attacking third.
As for me, just being on hand to watch my footballing heroes take to the pitch with such sharpness, determination, and understanding was a great sign for the season to come. Fantastic.

Jul/092
I blog, therefore I am (lame).
Okay. Time to get this here blog back on track!
I completely redesigned the site and in order to truly commemorate this fact, I have decided to relaunch [and revamp!] the blog as well.
The News:
Tomorrow I move from the San Fernando Valley (“The V-Hole”) to Old Town Pasadena. My new apartment is literally a 5 minute drive from my new school.
I am really stoked, and I will try the best I can to update the internet about my move.
The Old:
I was on hand yesterday to watch Los Doyers pull out a come-from-behind victory over the Houston Astros. Wicked.
The Ugly:
Still working out how to do a web-shop. Anybody out there wanna help me? COOL!
